Great shots...but you are SOOOO good at that... Went to fitness and then I picked up a few plants for the front...meaning...annuals and a few perennials...a big fat fern for my main planter, a new deep pink daylilie...sedum ,and bleeding hearts...one of my daughters gave me a lovely hanging plant with pale pink geraniums, and a lacy white trailing plant.... for Mom's day....Think I will do everything in pink and white, here at home...sounds good to me...Don't you just really dislike spiders??? I sure do....especially when you walk thru one of their webs...I guess like the poor Junebug did....the weather here sounds just like yours....fabulous day...more of the same coming...this is a long weekend for us, the Queen's birthday...first long weekend of the year, and definitely the start of Summer for us up here...Enjoy the rest of your day...until next time...CheersLinda :o)
Nice day!Love your pink and white flower choices...that will be gorgeous! I love pink geraniums, too.I need to do a post soon on just how much I dislike spiders! Seriously!I could take this weather every day of the summer. I wish it wouldn't get so hot and humid. I would much rather have the windows open like this!
Wow the spider sure has some foodThe junebug must think that is just rudeBecoming chowBut maybe the cats will wowAnd eat them bothStopping their growthAll those cookies must take a whileAs you go down the cookie mileAnd was okay here but cloudy for most of the dayBut Flappy did cancel at my work bay..hahahaha

Yeah thus I have to workWhich is not a perkWe really really really need that pot of goldSo doing what we want when we want can take hold
wow, thats an ambitous spider! Those cookies sound interesting, I hope you show us them finished,
Isn't that crazy? Makes shivers go up my spine! ha. eew.Oh, don't worry, you all have to have the play by play with the cookies. More to come next week with the icing! :)
Glad you are getting ahead on that cookie project!
Oh me, too! I'm feeling good about it! Whew!
Love the ladybug shot:)
thanks dear. She posed nicely!...then promptly fell off the leaf! haha.
that lady bug is sure cute! More power to the 'itsy bitsy spider' but I'd much rather have a cookie. ha -speaking of cookies, that's really a lot of them! Looking forward to seeing the finished product :) Kind of a random day here too, doing odds and ends. more painting, one step closer :)
I know! That spider! Good grief!Well, when I have that many cookies to bake, the blog is going to get a lot of random this week! lol...
What is a June Bug and why is it the size of your house? Omg, that's HUGE!! Between that and the spider, you should have been throwing cans of Raid around. lol ;)
Or spraying Raid keeping my mouth closed? lol...That big bug is a Junebug...although, they show up in May. I hate them. Ick. I'm going to have to get a broom and go outside and brush him down if he's still there tomorrow. I'm tired of looking at him! ha.
Yes no slurping any moreThe Gawker Island is all done at my shore..hahahaha
sounds good to mecuz that was really ickythe things you make me donow, why do I like you?ha.
I love the lady bug! A favorite of mine. You're doing a great job on your cookie order.
I was really pleased with how many I got done today! yippee! ha.It's the icing that is so tedious. ugh.
yes the icing is hard we alwaus help to my mom in Christmas with icing cookies!
I always get cramps in my hands with the pastry bag. I have arthritis in my thumbs, too...which makes it harder!
A sharp frost this morning, but the sun is shining. Love the ladybird!
Frost? No kidding! Good thing you have sunshine!
Oh your cookies are just adorable!! Love the heart shape!Yay for bugs!! LOL! take carex
thanks, kitty! I think they will be nice wedding favors.
yay for bugs? hmmm...can I send them to you?
Perfect days like that are rare here in Alabama. I love low humidity and puffy clouds in a blue sky.
me, too...but the humidity will be coming, I am sure. Yuck.
Best regards from France,Pierre
thanks, dear Pierre! :)
Our day was like yours...beautiful...so I got out the supplies and stained the deck, a job I dislike. Out of nowhere one big 'ol cloud came and poured on my deck, the one that was supposed to be kept dry for 12 hours. it IS always something. i can't wait to see your decorated cookies.
oh no...I thought only The Mister had that kind of luck. hahaha.
oh Betsy you wake up so early lolme to but I back to the bed dont feel well; anyway i will be in bed only for a while I have to do a lot today.have a nice day:)
Well, I have to get all five men out the door early! ha.Hope you feel better!
Lovely post Betsy! I hope you'll show one of those decorated cookies, I would love to see them.
Absolutely I will. You guys have to suffer through it all right along with me! lol. Love the shades...you look like a movie star, dahling. :)
How are our days, you ask, well mine has now been inspired to cookie bake, but not to that number - yikes!Pretty ladybird, scary teeny spider, imagine what she could catch if she were a little bigger!!
Nobody in their right mind should bake this many cookies in 3 days. lol. :) But the paycheck will be nice!thanks for visiting!
25 dozen cookies? that is a lot!reminds me a little of my frat house cooking days, except I did not make fussy or pretty cookie for those frat boys, just big cookies and lots of them.
Oh now, that would be fun. I don't mind the number, but you are right..it's the cutout and decorating that is crazy. I bet those boys loved your cookies! It's always fun to feed Taylor's friends when they are here...those young men can eat! ha.
Excellent Working Dear Friend Nice Information Share all over the world.God Bless You..london olympic bicycle companyolympic park cycles in london
My day doesn't sound as fun or as productive as yours - but I did see a dragon in the clouds this morning! (I'm learning to look.)
oh, how very fun! We've had amazing clouds but I've been too busy to look for creatures! :)
Yuk to the bugs. I don't like em. They make such a mess.Cookies are gonna be SOOOOO cute!
I'm hoping so! They better be! haha.
haha, I've been taking a bunch of photos through the windscreens myself, from the looks of it you have the pet screening as well, I just love the way the photos look when taken through the screen. Love the little ladybug too, that's a great shot. Thanks
I bet those biscuits turned out yummy! I find bugs a bit scary...
Oh the David and Goliath picture is so perfect. What an object lesson for Sunday School. I just marvel at your sugar cookies...I've tried so many time to make nice "cut out" cookies...but I guess it's just not in my DNA. I can make great choc. chip, peanut butter, oatmeal and snickerdoodle....Guess I should be happy...I think if I could visit your kitchen, and you could show me "hands on" I might get it. I'm a visual learner......In the meantime, I will just admire yours.
That's a lot of cookies. The spider isn't the only one who wouldn't need treats for the rest of it's life!
I'm serving coffee! Stay and chat! And no awards, please! Your comments are my awards!
