    1. They would probably say that ice and rest
      would be the best.
Or maybe eat a crooked neck squash
or some other kind of hogwash!
      lol. :)

      Two a day
      you say?
      That is good for you
since you have years to make up, you do!

      Delete
    2. LOL bah the ice doesn't seem to work
      But rest is a perk
A crooked nec squash is real?
Hmm that be a nasty ordeal
Yeah lots to make up for
With all those pringles at my shore
      A can a day
Is not good for one person at any bay..haha

      Delete
    3. yes, a crooked neck squash is a real food
maybe it would work, so don't be rude.
      It might taste so bad
you forget the neck pain that you had!
      hahahaha

      Delete
    4. LOL raw garlic can do that
Just as well at my mat
      Blah in every way
      Never again at my bay

  17. We grew up with that saying and my mom always tried to make sure we ate one each day. There is so many choices of fruit that I cannot remember as a child ever seeing. It seems like apples, oranges and bananas are our main choices.

I really like the leaves of the apple and the apple does look real. And little birds are an additional treat.

    God bless.

    1. we grew up that way, too! And I really didn't care for the apple in my lunch each day and threw it out! ha. They were usually jonathans...not my favorite. But you're right...we have so many other kinds available...especially these days!

  18. You know I luv Chickadees! Well done. They think bugs are healthy too but we won't go there. *grin*

  23. Being dependent on the earnings of one doctor at the moment and living in hope of seeing earnings from the other (student) doctor in the future, I must take exception at your words. Are you trying to put them out of business and dry up my supply of beer money?

  24. Aww, those are the cutest lil baby birds ever. Lovely rendition, Betsy!! TY. GREAT! I was thinking of this phrase too but couldn't think how to show it.

BTW, I got this comment on my blog whihc I did not publish as i think it was meant to go to you....(not how how that got mixed up?!):

The answers don't always come, Betsy, but walking in environments like this do help put things into perspective. You make peace with what is. Prayer also helps one put things into perspective. We were never promised freedom from problems or even heartache, just promised a way would be made for us to bear it or a path through it. Make peace with it. The needed strength to face each thing we must. Promised we were never alone. Thank you for stopping by and walking past the flags to comment on my article, Betsy. Thank you for trusting me when I said the site is safe despite the warnings up right now. Lets hope they'll be down soon. Why yes, I did take a walk and talk today. :-) on Sunsets and Healthy Walks
